INSTRUCTION TO AUTHOR

JOURNAL OF MEDICAL AND PHARMACEUTICAL INNOVATION

(JMPI)

Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Innovation (JMPI) is an international, peer reviewed, multidisciplinary journal, devoted to pharmaceutical and medical sciences.   All submitted manuscripts should contain original work neither published previously nor under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles shall be accepted from any country provided submitted in English language only.

Authors should submit the articles only in MS-word format, other format is not accepted. If equations were used it should be converted by using MS Office equation editor and pasted as image at proper place. All equations should be grouped or may be prepared using equation editor software. Articles should be typed in single line spacing with the Times New Roman font and 11 font size.

Preparation of manuscripts:

Manuscripts should be submitted as per order: Title Page, name of author (s), Abstract, Key words, Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements (if necessary) and References.

The title page should include the names of the authors, a concise and informative title, the affiliations of the authors, i.e. institution, (department), city, (state), country, a clear indication and an active e-mail address of the corresponding author

Abstract: It should be about 200-400 words. Key words: A maximum of 4-5 key words must be given at the end of the Abstract.

Introduction: It should define the background and significance of the study by considering the relevant literature, particularly the most recent publications.

Material and Methods: Please provide concise but complete information about the material and the analytical, statistical and experimental procedures used.

Results and discussion: In this part, the same data/ information given in a table must not be repeated in a figure, or vice versa. The results provided shall be critically discussed by citing the appropriate references.

Acknowledgements: If necessary, a brief Acknowledgements section may be included.

References: References should be cited in the text in Arabic numerals in square bracket. The references should be cited at the end of the manuscript in the order of their appearance in the text. For citation of references with six or more authors, only the first author’s name followed by et al. should be used.

Tables

All tables must be numbered using Arabic numerals. Tables should always be cited in text in consecutive numerical order. For each table, please provide a table title explaining the components of the table.

Figures

Photos or drawings must have a good contrast of dark and light. Legends of figures should be brief, but complete and self-explanatory so that the reader can easily understand the results presented in the figure. Figure legends should be present within the figures.

Conflict of interest

Authors shall declare the conflict of interest during submission of manuscript for publication.

Processing/ Open access charges

The manuscript processing charge for Indian authors is 2050 INR and 100 USD for foreign authors.
