Homoeopathic Management in Acute Diarrhoea in Children: A Review

Abstract

Diarrhoea is defined as a change in consistency and frequency of stools, i.e. liquid or watery stools, that occurs ˃3 times a day, associated with weakness, dehydration. Homoeopathic treatment for acute diarrhoea, the most efficient therapies provides a gentle approach in treating acute diarrhoea. It does not treat just the disease, but is prescribed on the basis of physical, emotional and genetic make-up of an individual.
