In Homoeopathy the Role of Susceptibility and Infantile Diarrhoea

Abstract

Diarrhoea is major health problem in developing countries. It is defined as passage of loose liquid or watery stool. Diarrhoeal diseases during infancy are usually brief and self limited but it can cause significant morbidity in some infants. An estimated 1.8 billion episodes of diarrhoea occurs each year and 3 million children under the age of 5 year die due to diarrhoea. Homoeopathy being an effective system of medicine for better scope in management of diarrhoea in children based on individual susceptibility.
